Site working only with force compile activated PS 1.6.1.17

Hi,

 

I have a problem with my website.

Is I switch Force copile to `Recompile templates if the files have been updated`, my website goes mad.

Homepage modules becomes unaligned, and selecting a new category from menu bar only changes the link but it shows mostly the same page.

Only configuration that is works is force compile and cache activated.

I tried to delete cache files but nothing changes. 

Problems appeard a week ago when my search bar suddently dissapeared and few days afther the website became all messed up untill I changed the compile settings.

Any ideas?

if shared hosting your php version was probably outphased. Did you do anything in that week?

I only added some new products. Site still working on Force compile.

If I activate debug with force compile off, there are a lot of smarty errors.
