How am I supposed to download any modules?

I installed Prestashop a very long time ago and am still trying to figure out how to "log in" so i can download modules. I used API to connect it to a Print on Demand site and have been unable to use ANY modules at all I keep getting this whenever I try to connect it.

I get the learning curve for this in INSANE but this should not be hard... what am I doing wrong? How can I set this up as it appears to be necessary and BASIC to doing anything on this platform...

I do, it will not link to my Shop though. No i haven't because it won't link to my shop.

it is really unnecessary to connect to addons this can slow down your site, if you have an addons account and buy modules download the modules and then upload them to your store
