Nested Subcategories

I'm having a bit of a problem with categories/subcats/subcats...

I have a few categories that will have a subcategory... and in turn that subcategory will have a subcategory (sometimes 3 or 4 subcats deep). I can import the category CSV file no problem - but once I import the Products CSV file, several of the subcategories no longer show up as subcategories - they get changed to Categories.

I'm wondering if the problem lies in the Category CSV file. You have the "name" of the subcategory - followed by "Parent Category". Should the "parent category" be the top level category name or the subcategory name that it falls under? I've used the subcategory name that it falls under as that seems to make the most sense.
