Add field of type file to the registration form

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to create a file type field in the registration form of my prestashop.

I have already created the field and I can attach a pdf, the problem I have is that I cannot save this file on the server, and in the database the name of the file is saved, but not the path, since it does not exist not being saved on the server.

Does anyone know how I can save the path of the file that I want to upload and how to save it in a folder on the server.
