USB83
Hello, I have a shop running 1.6.1.24 on a shared host on which the maximum allowed value of max_input_vars is 5100 So a message tells me to increase this limit to at least 5273 at least. So my question is : is it possible to do the translations on my local environment and then export and import them on the shop online ? Thanks

Depending on your contract you have access or not. That value is set in php.ini If you don't have access tell your server staff. Not VPS, not dedicated server. That's why i'd like to know if exporting local BackOffice translation and importing it on a live shop is possible. After changing values in php.ini you should restart apache. I think you should change your server as 5100 is already to low.
