how to keep both grid and and list view option

am using prestashop 7.1 version. i want to allow customer to change the product list, as list or grid.is there any option to switch between grid view and list view in backoffice? if it is not how it can do using source code?

Hi,

There is no back-office option for this because PrestaShop 1.7 doesn't support list view for category pages in the standard theme. 

If you are using a custom theme, you can check in the theme settings, Theme configuration if it has an option for this. 

Otherwise, it needs to be resolved by code.
