Hello all, 

Recently I started answering more customer emails regarding whether an order had been processed or despatched etc

It seems the automated emails from PS are not sending out to gmail.com addresses.

I found this out specifically after trying to send test emails to different addresses, and have since also noticed that the customer enquiries all comes from only gmail account holders.

If anyone has any insight, suggestions or solutions, it would be much appreciated, as I don't know what else to try.

Recently I started answering more customer emails regarding whether an order had been processed or despatched etc, and it seems the automated emails from PS may not be sending out properly.

I have observed no test caution messages, or general error messages to indicate this, so it took me a little longer to realise. However today:

  • When I send a test email from the "Advanced Parameters" menu, nothing comes through.
  • I have an abandoned cart module, and none of those test emails are being received by me either.
  • When I resend order stage emails from my test customer account, nothing comes through.

When sending general order or test order emails, it says "sent", and even logs in the advanced parameters email log.

In the advanced parameters email menu, I am set to use /usr/sbin/sendmail, but am currently trying to set up SMTP with Office 365, but am having some "Connection refused" issues. 

If anyone has any insight, suggestions or solutions, it would be much appreciated, as its also haunted my email marketing plans etc.
