Options with a fee

Hi, i was looking for adding something but i found none to little documentation about it. I want to add a option to a product, not something like size, color ot any other thing. I will try to explain myself better. For example the client buy a cellphone and he choose to add or not add a screen protector with a fee, or the customer buy a pc and choose the installation of the OS, Windows, Linux or none.

Every option have a different price, is like adding a service or product regardless of the combination / color / size of the product sold.

In a complex scenario it can be used to personalize a computer with a base model and upgrade every component ( hd, ram, graphics board etc). Waiting for your comments.

This additional service/product you are referring to, do you want it in the order as an individual product (for stock, invoicing)?

Not necessarily, maybe if it is a service it don't really have a inventory but just a price, it they ask for a sticker it have a inventory.

If the price of the main products change accordingly with the options  it can be listed individually or not. Does prestashop manage this with native code or it require a module?

You can't really use native code unless you use combinations.

With a module like this, you can add different fields and you can use formulas for the final price.

With such a module, you can add products, which if checked, will be added to the cart along with the main product.
