lilactwist
Hiya, I'm at a loss. I'm new to Prestashop but have experience in opencart. Had no issues installing Presta, getting used to the back end layout etc...but it seems to be taking up a massive amount of storage on my hosting and I cannot work out why. I have turned off cache, cleared and deleted the cache through the admin panel and through ftp, but nothing will seem to stop Presta from rewriting files that are now amounting to 800mb with a db of 66mb! - all with only 3 products with 3/4 images each. What is going on? I was really enjoyin Presta, loved the interface etc but this is putting me off as I have already had to increase my hosting due to going over quota and one day later looks like I will have to again! Something is definately not right...can anyone help a novice and shed some light on the matter?
El Patron
that's not very big, shops can easily go over gigabites.. it's not ps, its your hosting...you don't even know yet what else they are not providing, mod_expires, gzip... make sure you have good robust hosing, you should not be worrying about size but building your business.
