Hello,

I am using the marketing with google module. I have products we stock our self and prodcuts our supplier stocks for us. So Everything on the site can be ordered. But with the marketing app it only shows in google the in stock products. So I am looking for a way to change all out of stock products in to in stock products. (Is there a way in code to change this?)

Do you actually have sales in Google Marketing?

You need to see how the stocked products are coded and code the supplied products accordingly.

Hi @Maaike

As I understood the issue you're facing comes from the uploaded feed into GMC. Make sure to use a module which will allow you certain exclusions as well to apply certain rules.

As I see you have 1-2 options

1. You modify the feed generation module based on all the products where you would assign a certain feature (visible only from Backoffice) called something similar to DS(drop shipping). Having this attached to those specific products would offer you the necessary tool to divide the 2 type of products. after that I would add an extra quantity (like 99). However the issue that you'll face after will be that google will check your site structure data, and the data from your feed won't match with the reality on the site (and the products will be deactivated in 30 days).

2. This brings me further to the next step - which would mean that you should increase the physical quantity of all the products which have a DS feature to 99 (run a cronjob each night to increase the value back to 99.

Be creative!

Also I recommend you to create a small feed with like 10 product (all with DS) , exclude these from the ,major feed. Never do big changes on the major feed you have, always create test feeds with smaller amount of products as with changes you can create worst cases for the ones that have been working.

I hope I helped a bit ;)

Cheers,

LEo

What did you decide in the end?

I end up ditching the whole module. It is not practical and I lost all my google sales with it.

You can bypass the prestashop google module for the in and out stock bij putting it straight in to your google feed rules. That works good. You cant change it in the module.
But this module has another big problem. It does not keep your products active. So you need to manualy edit every product you have between the experation data. That is most off the time a month. So every product needs to be editted once a month. That can be done if you have a small number off products. But I have more than 1000. So then it cant be done.
You are without a good costumerservice with this module. So you end up figuring everything out your self or waiting days for a not helpfull answer (them mostly telling you to wait for the next update). So I decided to go for a payed one. My google sales came back very fast after that. But with the integreted prestashop one sales are nul.
