Order List not showing correct order status

So in my order list it shows status of order is "Payment accepted" but in the order details it shows correctly "Order sent" - any ideas why the order list is not showing the same?

Do you mean in the admin, or in the client's order list, in the front end?

Yes, in the admin backend. 

I see one status in the main list but in the order details another status.

How can that be?

Is the status you don't see set in any way? Or is it changed manually by you? If it is set by any module, it may not be changed properly.

All this order states, are they set by paypal? I think the last state is added in the history, but it is not set as the current state on order.

This one is Paypal, others are other payment methods (usually Prestashop Checkout).
