Upgrade from 1.4.11.1 to the newest 1.7 version

Hello.

We finally decided to upgrade our very old shop based on Prestashop 1.4.11.1 to the newest version possible.

Can anyone help us with that ? What's the best route to take ? Any recommended company who could do this job from us (paid option of course) ?

We don't have any special modules used and we would like to keep as many data as possible including all products, pictures, customers, sales records.

Personally I have very basic knowledge about PHP but zero experience with databases and servers.

1.4  is verry old,  why did you never upgrade to the 1.5  1.6  versions ?

As for now we probably have found proper person to do this task for us.

I can tell you right now, one person does not have all the skill sets for everything required for kick ass new shop upgrade.  In future consider a PrestaShop agency with many different skill sets for best results.  Good luck!!
