Checkout message issue

Hello All 

When checking out, after ticking "accept conditions etc" and selecting a payment method (and entering card details, if card is selected), the following warning message appears regardless:

"Please make sure you've chosen a payment method an accepted the terms and conditions"  (screenshot attached)

The actual "Place Order' or "PayPal checkout" button is active and still works, but the above message shouldn't appear/ stay.

Before this occurred, I updated the Prestashop checkout module.

If a payment method or terms agreement is not ticked, another orange box appears below this one warning of the same thing, but disappears when addressed. 

 

Anyone else having a similar issue, or can suggest any fixes please?
