How can I remove the "state" field from the address during checkout and from getting sent with the order?

I need to remove this field because the bank that is processing payments is required not to ask for it (for whatever reason).

I have removed it from the country's fields in localisation and it doesn't show during checkout but it is still being sent with the order as a copy of the "City" field, which I have active.

I have tested this and seen that City is sent and State is also sent with the text of the City field.

How can I make sure that the State field isn't sent at all during checkout?

it's being sent to the bank in the order that gets processed on their website, not in the email that goes to the customer. unless those are the same thing?

Not sure I follow what you mean, do you think the payment module (it's by card using redirection to the bank's website) might be causing this duplication?

You're right, I found it and made a ticket with the devs of the module, it actually sends the city without even a check for some reason.
