Prestashop 1.7 8.3 (Hard work?)

Hello Ladies and Gents,

 

I have recent re-installed Prestashop but the 1.7 8.3 and I must say I hate it!

I'm far from a tech or coding wizard so maybe it's just my lack of abilty but my gosh it's difficult to navigate around. I used to have a shop using 1.6 and they are worlds apart. The use of ease seems like it's been fully removed 😤

 

I'm nearly at the point of stripping it from cpanel and going with the older version.

Am I missing something??

 

P.S. I've changed over the whole currency, locations, shipping etc. I'm capable to do this but modifying the home page look, installing new themes is now above me.

 

Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated 😪

Jump from 1.4 either 1.6 to new version is a quote big jump as you need to learn new interface. But it is simpler after a while. Installing new theme and make some visual changes isn't that hard.

If you have any specific issues with install new theme, just post it. Community will guide you.
