Prestashop keeps Re-Directing to my Old Domain. CACHE Flushed. How to fix please??

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am having issues with my Website.  I currently host 2 domains on my VPS server.  One is www.vintagevogue.com  and the other is  www.nostalgicneedleart.com.  Both have their own IP addresses.  Each is running Prestashop 1.7.7.0 as my ecommerce software.

For some reason, every time I try to access vintagevogue.com it is getting redirected to nostalgicneedleart.com.  I do not know why this is happening.  I can not find any Re-directs on my VPS server that would point to nostalgicneedleart.com.  I have looked through all the different system files.

When you type in  https://www.vintagevogue.com/pres156  the system will redirect to https://www.nostalgicneedleart.com/pres172  This happens every time.  Notice it is redirecting to a different location library.  I use /pres156 on vintagevogue.com and I use /pres172 on nostalgicneedleart.com.  You can look at the address bar, and it shows the nostalgicneedleart.com as the redirected address.

When I try to access the back office via the admin folder, you will see the following.  When you type https://www.vintagevogue.com/pres156/admin156   it will redirect https://www.nostalgicneedleart.com/pres172/admin156 and generate a 404 error not found, because directory /admin156 does not exist on nostalgicneedleart.com.   On nostalgicneedleart.com the admin directory is  /admin172

When I go directly to https://www.nostalgicneedleart.com/pres172 there are NO ISSUES.  My website displays correctly with no issues.  Also when I go to https://www.nostalgicneedleart.com/pres172/admin172 there are NO ISSUES.  I'm able to access my back office and perform all my duties.

I have been working with Tech Support that supports my VPS Server, and they have assured me it is not a server problem.  There are no redirects defined on my VPS Server.

I have read all the articles here on the Forum about changes needed to my Prestashop Tables.  I have validated that ALL CHANGES have been made correctly.   I have validated the tables  ps_configuration where I checked PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN all point to vintagevogue.com   I have also validated the table ps_shop_url  that domain, domain_ssl point to vintagevogue.com  I have also validated that physical_uri points to /pres156/ for vintagevogue.com

In addition I have also gone out to my directory structure, /pres156, and cleared out CACHE from all the different folders, leaving only the index.php file.  I have also validated my .htaccess file to ensure it has NO REDIRECTS back to nostalgicneedleart.com

Any assistance this forum can provide would be greatly appreciated.  I have no idea where else to look to try and resolve this issue.  I have even taken my existing vintagevogue.com store (database, and file structure) and restored it onto a Virtual Box machine, running Windows 10 with WAMP Server.  Grant you, it is using localhost, my website works perfect with NO REDIRECTS.  Everything comes up as vintagevogue.com when I reference vintagevogue.com.   I even restored nostalgicneedleart.com (database and file structure) to this same Virtual Box machine, into a different directory and it works with no issues.  No Re-Directs occur.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello ComGrafPL - If you look closely at my original post, you will notice I'm running Prestashop v1.7.7.0 for BOTH domains.  The pres156 merely refers to my directory containing my store.  I have since resolved this issue by upgrading to Prestashop v1.7.7.6.  The issue has completely gone away and working as expected.
