search bar looks weird after upgrading to PS 1.7.8.3 (Angar Theme) (FIXED)

Hi all again

After upgrading my friend's website to version 1.7.8.3, and fixing some problems, we got the website working but now the search bar looks weird (before it looked right). (The search bar works well) Here is how it looks like right now

My friends website uses:

Theme: Angartheme 2.3.3

ps_search version: 2.1.2

Prestashop version: 1.7.8.3

I have seen a possible solution to a similar problem in this post

but it didn't work for us.

I renamed 

themes/angartheme/modules/ps_searchbar/ps_searchbar.tpl to ps_searchbar.bak

even

themes/classic/modules/ps_searchbar/ps_searchbar.tpl to ps_searchbar.bak

and we have the ps_search last version (2.1.2)

but the search bar looks the same.
If anyone knows how to fix it I would be very grateful.

 

EDIT: Fixed... We contacted the template creator and he told us that we had to update the template to be compatible with the latest version of Prestashop. Once updated everything works fine. (last version of angar 2.4.4)

Hi, I have the same problem, just with the following differences: 

Theme: Angartheme 2.4.1

ps_search version: 2.1.3

Prestashop version: 1.7.8.7

I know I have to update the theme (to 2.4.5) but I am not sure how to do it correctly whiteout loosing my configuration (colours, menus, etc.). Do you follow any guide to update your friend's theme? 

Any help would be much appreciated!
