Speed issue using Advanced Search 4 module

Hi all,

I have a prestashop site that has many product combinations, so the search plugin results return very slowly. I think mostly because of all the MySQL queries needed for the search results.

Sometimes the search page will be cached, but after visiting other pages on the site, the search in no longer cached.

For example: Go to: https://new.truckworkz.ca/s-2/make-chevrolet
Page takes 25 seconds.
Refresh https://new.truckworkz.ca/s-2/make-chevrolet
Page takes 3 seconds
Go to: https://new.truckworkz.ca/s-2/make-jeep
Page takes 25 seconds.
Refresh https://new.truckworkz.ca/s-2/make-jeep
Page takes 3 seconds.
Go back to: https://new.truckworkz.ca/s-2/make-chevrolet
Page takes 25 seconds

I have tried the plugin "MB Cache Manager" but it seems to cause errors with Advanced Search 4 (necessary Javascript code disappears from the optimized page) and doesn't fix the search result speed issue anyway.

Does anyone have any ideas why sometimes the page is cached and sometimes not? No product data is being updated when this happens.

Loading times are the same without Adv. search module?

You can try to find alternatives.

The site loads fine without the advanced search module. The search module has many queries in MySQL slow log. So it's not images or anything like that.

I'll contact the developer of one of those caching modules and see if they think it will help.

Get hosting with nvme ssd, ovj has vps ukfast has affordable dedicated.  Legacy hosting costs are very high for this feature.

Also hire ageny like ours, we tune the mysql configuration they are never tuned out of the box.
