cp_sl
Hi, Im trying to install Prestashop 1.7.8.2 on a shared host instance. All went fine but at 75% it fails when trying to install Addon modules. Refer screenshot that i'm getting. I tried even with stable 1.7.7.7 release but no luck. Please help. ----Error--- 1: An exception occurred while executing 'SELECT t0.id_tab AS id_tab_1, t0.id_parent AS id_parent_2, t0.position AS position_3, t0.module AS module_4, t0.class_name AS class_name_5, t0.route_name AS route_name_6, t0.active AS active_7, t0.enabled AS enabled_8, t0.hide_host_mode AS hide_host_mode_9, t0.icon AS icon_10, t0.wording AS wording_11, t0.wording_domain AS wording_domain_12 FROM ps_tab t0 WHERE t0.class_name = ? cp_sl
HI, Thanks for your feedback. All Prestashop system requirements were fully complied before the installation. Also please note my installation is running on a shared hosting not on a local machine. Thanks Edited January 10, 2022 by cp_sl (see edit history)
SmartDataSoft
@cp_sl This is the big problem shared hosting memory limit made problem when installation also execution time is a matter. Better if you install locally and move it to live Thank you
cp_sl
Thanks for your reply. But is it really that hard ? I believe most of the shared host providers has complied Prestashop on their offerings including Hostinger where i've tried recently. Has anyone went success with shared provider i mentioned or any other ? Appreciate your feedback.
RikMK
Had the same issue last year. Hosting provider also offered Prestashop. Then later they adjusted their server capacity (downgraded) without informing customers. Took me 3 days to find out. Switched to VPS with plesk. It runs great and runs 10x faster.
