Prestashop Backend - Controller Name Display

Dear,

I'm having trouble with our back-end, it showing the Controller-names as tabs after an version upgrade. Our Admins have multiple languages available. We have tried serveral things but its not yet working.

Did you enable Debug? Checked the server logs?

We had similar cases in the past : 

1. Change the language of the employee

2. If the above is not working create  a new employee

3. Search in Database the ps_tab_lang  table - see if there are all languages present with data!

We have check this but we can't find a ps_tab_lang at all.

@Prestachamps is right, it seems you lost a table or more, you should check if you have them all by comparing your DB with with a fresh PS installed DB.
Use the same languages for this new install and copy the missing tables to your current shop.

Do you have backup of old db?

You need to import tab_lang table from it.
