MightyMouseofGod
I've searched the forum and found several references to removing or changing this label but they mostly seem to relate to earlier versions or I can't find anything corresponding to the instructions given. As we're in the UK the price should ideally say "including VAT" . My site goes live at the end of the week and if I can't get an sensible solution I can only think of making the text the same colour as the background which isn't great 🙂 TIA Debbie
mickeyboy1
Goto your admin and click on Shop Parameters/Customer Settings then the groups tab From there you can edit the relevant groups to display either tax included or tax excluded Hope this helps 😊
MightyMouseofGod
Thanks I found that bit but what if I want it to change the string it displays to "including VAT" or nothing? Debbie
mickeyboy1
Back office International/Translations Modify translations....... choose Front Office Translations, select your theme and language Search the word "tax" in the search bar then change as many as you like You may have to change a few places depending on what modules you are using Let us know how you get on
MightyMouseofGod
I don't have Front Office Translations. I do have Theme Translations but if I search for tax I get "%price% tax excl." which isn't what appears on the Product page. There's a "Tax Excluded" in "Other Translations" but what appears in the page is "Tax excluded" - different case. There are translations for Modules but I don't know which one to look in! My test site url is https://www.soocool.co.uk/test/ - any other suggestions? Thanks, Debbie

mickeyboy1
Mmm not sure why you dont have front office translations in there Worst case scenario is you could use css to hide it Unless someone else can chime in with other suggestions
MightyMouseofGod
Hi, I've never hidden anything with CSS and I'm in a hurry to launch the new site. Any chance you could give me some clues? Otherwise I'll just make it the same colour as the background 🙂 Thanks Debbie
ComGrafPL
Find line ".product-prices .tax-shipping-delivery-label" in https://www.soocool.co.uk/test/themes/apparelpro/assets/css/theme.css font-size: .8125rem; color: #7a7a7a; Change to: font-size: .8125rem; color: #7a7a7a; visibility: hidden;
MightyMouseofGod
Thanks. My theme.css is minified but I have ways of over-riding things. I'm a bit embarrassed that I didn't just look up something that simple but my database imploded for no apparent reason (even my geek husband couldn't see why) while we were doing simple final snagging and to say that I was stressed was putting it mildly 🙂 The site went live looking OK but I don't like it when I can't get to the bottom of a problem. MightyMouseofGod
I carried on looking and finally found this in Modules -> Legal Compliance. It's not a very logical place for it to be, and we were only led in that direction by searching for the string "Tax excluded" in a copy of the filesystem. I'm not sure why It was set to YES, but setting it to NO made the labels disappear! I'm surprised no-one mentioned it and I'd still prefer to change the label to say VAT Included! Thanks to everyone who replied Debbie

This only takes the text off from the product page, it still shows in the cart
