Thomas S.
Hi,I'm new to PrestaShop and I have a tricky question...I have a huge online picture gallery with over 37.000 pictures and now I'm selling using the PayPal shopping cart, but it doesn't comply with all my needs, so I'm looking into PrestaShop. Is it possible to add an Item to the Cart from another Page and passing along the picture name to the cart?I can see that it is possible to use some extra text fields, but the user needs to press save on the item card first and that I can not use.I'm thinking of adding an Item eg. Print 10x15cm price €x.xx and I need now to know the picture name. Please advice.Best RegardsThomas.
Skipper
Unless someone smarter than me has a different opinion, I'd say that tweaking PS into this functionality would be tricky, to say the least.Have a look at the Avactis shopping cart instead. This cart has builtin possibilities to convert any existing site into an online shop, ie. add buy buttons without redesigning the site, still with full featured backoffice and administrative functions.Open Source, of course, but only free as in "free as freedom", not free as in "free as free beer".
