Keeping the data after cloning the store

I would like to copy the store to the subdomain. What to do to keep customer data, the most fearful thing is that customers' passwords will be lost.

Why would you loose them?

The data is still in the same Database. Localhost won't move. And why moving the store to a subdomain? Usually a subfolder is best.

I remember I used to create a store on a laptop, then moved it to hosting and lost the administrator password.

These are the guidelines I have received to move store.com to new.store.com

The password keys are stored in the parameters.php file (for PS 1.7). As long as those keys stay the same the customer passwords should work.
