Search bar with a category select box next to it like Amazon's.

Hello,

What I want is to be able to search and limit the results to a category just like how Amazon does it.

Is this possible with a simple edit to the current code, or are there any modules that provide this functionality?

 

I've found a module that 'has' this functionality, but upon typing in text it resets the category selected and provides a global search.
