Issues with Stripe Module and Order Processing

Hi i was getting the CSFR token message with my have prestashop version 1.7.6.1 so could not amend product quantities or make any other changes.

I was on PHP version: 7.4.18; I was advised to reduce the PHP to 7.2 which worked.

 

I am now having issues with payments; stripe module asks me to capture client information via the strip dashboard (even though this function is not enable on the module) and orders are not processed correctly. For example, an order is made then automatically cancelled. I do not cancel it and neither does the customer.

Are the two issues linked to reducing the PHP? Or is it something else?
