How to turn off "shipping".

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

a beginer-question:

How can I turn off shipping complet?

After the shop-owner gets the order-mail,
he can contact the customer to talk with him.

I don't want to see any "shipping-text" in frontend  order process.

::: EDIT 1:::

Also in the confirmation (or any mail to the customer) Mail I don't want to see any "shipping-text"

How can I do this?

yours,
Daniel

ecommerce is easy, shipping is the hard part and PS does a sloppy job putting content or using default country for shipping displayed....

are the visitors adding to cart to get quote?  Please explain more the business model.  You need to find a module that supports a quote, call back where you can control the shipping.

also you should post in job offers, develop relationship with ps dev familiar with PS that can make small modifications and/or suggest feature module to meet your business requirements.

Buenos días el Patrón,

it is a B2B Shop.

The customers make orders (choose produkts -> cart -> order).

The shop-owner gets the order-mail.
The shop-owner contacts the customer to talk and find an agreement for Shipping.

Thats it.

Means: In the Shop we need only the text "kostenpflichtig" (shipping not free).
But: I can not show any special price. This is for later in the direct contakt
between shop-owner and customer.

yours,
Daniel

Hi El Patron,
your Point is good and now I have a question to the shop-owner.

Because: normaly there is a confirmation-mail with the costs.
There are now no shipping-costs.
And later? The shop-owner will send a noter invoice only for the shipping-costs?
I will check this and then comment further on this.

thanks and greetings
Daniel

Hi El Patron,

the Invoice should be not in the Mail.
The invoice later will be created by Lexware.

I try your recommendation, but
can you help find "Then find/change Free Shipping text".
International -> Translation -> and then?

In another posting I explain, that it is realy not easy to know, which translation should be changed, if the same world exists x-times in the "translation" - area.
"free" (kostenlos) I can find multiple.

yours,
Daniel
