Where are the invoice-pdf?

Hi all,

before I try to go deeper in Prestashop I try to understand and find the simple things.

Where can I find the invoice-pdf in the Prestashop backend?

I know where I can find all orders.

I know where I can print an invoice.

But I cant see anythink about pdf.

Please help.

The pdf templates are in the /pdf directory.

Hi musicmaster,

I search the "invoice-pdf". A PDF-File is a file with the ending .pdf.

I thought Presta generates real PDF-Files and I can find them on the Server.

I need to know this, because my other post: I still have not found how to send real pdf-files attached to the confirmation Mail.
 

Now I want to go Step-by-Step.
1) Where are the real PDF-Files on the Server.
if 'exist' then -> Why where ist no PDF attached -> ...
else -> Why there is no PDF created ...

Hi Daniel,

There are no pdf files on the harddisk. They are made on the fly when you click on the button in the backoffice or send a mail with attachment.

But here I also can find a point "print invoice".
How can I download the PDF?

In Woocommerce I can direct klick a button to download the Invoice-PDF.
Thats very comfortable. It is also posible in Presta?

Thanks a lot musicmaster,

now I understand more the Circumstances.
I "created" the Invoice. Then I can find a row there. (and the zero change to "1").
Also I can open it as a PDF and also I can download the file.
