limit the placement of new products

Hi everyone, I am trying to limit the insertion of new products by the user.

I would like a maximum of 100 products to be entered in the database.
I searched for a solution on the forum with no success.

The only post resolved dates back to 2011 (topic / 102843) but obviously the solution is no longer applicable to today's PS version.

Is anyone kind enough to give me a suggestion on how to change the limit?

I wanted sellers to be able to place a limited number of items in the BO for example 100.

Not being familiar with programming on prestashop, I opted for a solution with ajax and php that verifies the number of articles entered in the database in order to disable the article insertion button.
