Yandex smtp mail solution.

Hello All,

We are trying to migrate from Woocommerce to Prestashop. Last week I setup a testing server with full domain and ssl configuration in our linux server.

Everything was fine even I start to wrote webservice api apps for our custom needs.

However I can't send mail from presta show with yandex smtp. There is tons of information in the web and I can't find working solution. Due to latest 1.7.7.x sendmail update it becames very confusing.

Here my solution after 2 hours of frustrating efforts. I left here for future needs
 

1. make sure yourdomain.com yandex settings are complete.
2. your setup account for presta must have same as smtp account. (e.g [email protected])
3. Settings

Set my own SMTP parameters (for advanced users ONLY)

Mail domain name : 

SMTP Server : smtp.yandex.com
SMTP username: [email protected]

SMTP password: [email protected] yandex password
Encryption : SSL

Port: 465:

AND make sure to login to mail yandex com with [email protected] account then confirm to acceptance then open pop3 access in mail.yandex.com/?uid=yourid#setup/client
