authorize net or NMI gateway?

It used to be prestashop had these already installed..  so now we have to buy an 84$ module to run those gateways?

Im a high risk adult site, so I have to find a way to be able to accept credit cards, I found a merchant that go through auth net or NMI - but Im pretty peeved I have to spend 84$ just to get a module for it.

 

anyone know if there is a different way to get these gateways loaded in PS 1.7?   or perhaps something else I can look for.  built this whole website - and now im pretty bummed to see I have to buy a module just for that
