Hello,

i have a problem with multi language store.

The problem is if default lang is turned on i don't have problem with performance however if i trying switch language to "DE" my site slows down.

Here is the site: https://vinboxshop.com/

Here are speedtests:

  • for a normally opened site:image.thumb.png.9025f6d195face753dbbd5b78c981767.png
  • if i choose "DE":image.thumb.png.9e951cdbcc80dcfbe974ac8f3c1fd70e.png

I don't know whats going on but my site slows down by up to 4000%

Thanks for help, everyone.

get vps or dedicated hosting with nvme/ssd.  faster data reads will solve

If you think it is problem with my dedicated server you are really ..... maybe i will not finish.

It is evident problem with prestashop. I haven't had time to check it yet. I'll be in touch

check you mysql runtime stats via phpmdmin, most often they are very basic.  from this you can set your mysql caches to meet your shop.

it's not evident that it's a problem with PS, cpu's always waiting for data from storage...so does not matter how fast your cpu is....also check that you are using  all 8 cores via php fpm...

good luck
