Cart summary (pop up) is not shown when pressing the "Add to cart" button

Hello colleagues, I am a Prestashop newbie and it would be great if you could help me with a little problem.

Iin the default classic template, when clicking on add to cart, a popup appears with the cart summary. But when I install a free template that I found on the internet, when I press the add to cart button, that popup no longer appears and I would like it to appear. If I set the classic theme back to default, the popup reappears. I have tried to find the code that is executed when the button is pressed, but I have not been able, neither in the classic template nor in the new one that I installed, both put data-button-action = "add-to-cart" but I cannot find that it is executed by pressing the button.

I would really appreciate if you could help me with this.
