Prestashop 1.7.8 Checkout "Order With An Obligation To Pay" Button

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Recently my server host announced on the 16th November 2021 we will only have php 7.4 & php 8.0

For this reason I need to upgrade all of my client's websites to Prestashop 1.7.8

Forced to use the beta version, I'm just having one issue.

Any payment module which I'm loading or even Pay by Wire option, won't let you press the "Order with an obligation to pay" button as though it is deactivated.

Any idea how to fix this?

Most of my client's ecommerce stores are on prestashop and I need to convert them all asap else I'll lose 80% of my business.

Can't really do that, this is honestly the best hosting company in my country.
I've been with 4 other companies before this and really can't move away from them.

I just need the checkout to work, and all will be well

Also, would advise everyone not to use php versions which has reached their EOL for support & security.
Let's rather help people move forward, not back.

Anyways, found where it was disabled and just enabled it.
At least I don't have to redo the past 3 weeks of work we did on various sites.

Dear all,

for who is still looking for a solution, thanks to the support received, the following solved my issue:

replace core.js file from Prestashop 1.7.7.7 or other previous version.
Themes ->core.js

After replace this file then cleas cache from prestashop also clear cache your browser.

Thanks for the solution.
