(SOLVED)pick a color problem.

Hi

I am using 1.4 and need to get the "pick a color" graphic to work on my website. I have colours listed as a drop down menu but for some reason I cannot get the colored blocks to show on screen.

Please can anybody help.

I am new to this but on the combinations tab on the product page at the very bottom is a select box which says
Color picker: Do not display Color attribute management select it and the colour show.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your time.

I have seen that box but I only have "do not display" and I am sure you are right about that being the problem but I need to know how to get "display the color" so I can use it. It seems so simple but time consuming getting little things to work

You have helped me now solve the problem.

What I did was go to the product.
Then into combinations.
Change the default colour to another color.
Then the "Color" button comes back and then the color picker comes back into the shop.
