Do not create order if payment failed

Issue: the order in prestashop is created even if payment failed. Is there a way to prevent this?

There are orders that never get paid (after the payment failure) which block the articles from being sold to someone else. Furthermore, the prestashop is connected to JTL Wawi software, which synchronizes the unpayed orders (via JTL-connector) to JTL Backoffice, where these orders also stay for some time. Such orders regularly need to be sorted out and canceled, which is not so optimal.

Is there a possibility to NOT create an order in prestashop if payment has failed, or maybe to not synchronize the orders with failed payments into JTL-Wawi?

Prestashop version: 1.7.7.5

Payment processor: Wallee v1.2.1 (Prestashop Add-on)

JTL-Wawi version: 1.5.47.2

So, what do I need to do to have these orders NOT being sent to JTL Wawi? I have not seen any relevant settings for this in JTL Wawi, Prestashop or JTL connector (the plugin between Prestashop and JTL Wawi).
