Error translating modules in BO (Prestashop 1.4)

The browser render broken html characters when i go to Tools -> Translations -> Modify Translations:

I can translate all the sections without problems except "Module translations":

Front Office Translations
Back Office Translations
Error Message Translations
Field name Translations
Module Translations
PDF Translations
Email templates Translations

When i click in any flag, the browser renders something like this ( it changes every click i do. Seems like broken html?):

I´ve tried to:

- remove (backup) some modules in the "modules" folder and the error disappear but it still appears randomly.
- different browsers
-PHP.INI increment max_execution_time to 90, post_max_size 24M

It happens both in my local server (Xampp,Windows 7, PHP 5.3.5) or in my live server (PHP 5.3.5)

it could be memory allocation problem.
try to increase memory allocation in file PHP.ini to see if it changes
