Mikeey
Hi I found a free module for GTM - https://github.com/MSiliunas/Prestashop-GoogleTagManager Could help you with the first problem. you could edit your themes header.tpl and the add crazy egg html there or if there is a "custom code" section in Theme configurator? I'm not on PS 1.6 so I can't guide you exactly where the header.tpl is loacted..
SmartDataSoft
In PrestaShop 1.6.x if you are using default-bootstrap you can add in line 70 before </head> tag \1.6.1.24\themes\default-bootstrap\header.tpl If your theme is other than default theme you can search same location of your theme file. Thank you
El Patron
you should get a skeleton module that you can update to add content to the front office using PS functions, hardcoding into header is brute force method....
