Best Configuration for a Big Store

Hi guys i'm a little lost after weeks of research, so i need a light on this one.

What we have:

A PS 1.7 with

  • 30.000 active products
  • 80.000 inactive products
  • 4000 categories
  • 200 users per hour
  • We run a daily import of products
  • twice a day stock and price updates to all the products
  • Actually runing in VPS with 8GB + 120SSD + 4Core
  • Apache + Nginx

What is the best option in order to improve performance (it's a little slow on pageload times)

  • Upgrade to Cloud Services (AZURE or AWS)?
  • Maybe a Master/Slave database ?
  • Any experience with litespeed server, is it worth it?

What do you suggest?

By the way thank you for taking your time helping me to solve this...

Kind Regards,

SL.

Nop still not but i have to do several products imports daily, i have to import about 30k products everyday and also run stock and price updates daily from about 20k products.

That's why i'm asking what could be better?  Continue using traditional VPS maybe increase resources or switch to CLOUD?

Cloud aws is better if you are able to manage  the sever. For big database we use aws RDMS  and cloud. amazone cloud is better than VPS.

Thank you

Hi, when you said you use AMAZON AWS you simply launch an EC2 or are using specific configuration? Any help
