[SOLVED] Adding new currency (Moroccan dirham MAD) but can't find where to add it's Symbol

Hi Guys
need some help please!
i have added a new currecy "MAD" and set it as a default, the issue is the MAD symbol does not appeard in the front office
i even checked this path /localization/CLDR/core/common/main/ and selected ar_MA.xml but didn't find the <currencyFormats> tag in order to change the symble manually
 
any ideas ?

im using Prestashop 1.7.6.5

@Crezzur Thanks for the reply i don't have those settings

the only settings i have are the one in the shared picture " Currency " and " Exchange rate "

i believe these settings such as " ISO code " and " Decimals " are no longer available in 1.7.6.5 and higher

but as i mentioned earlier i don't have thoese setting in my prestashop 1.7.6.5

You could upgrade PrestaShop or use a paid module from Addons (https://addons.prestashop.com/en/price-management/27821-change-or-remove-the-decimals-and-format-currency.html)

is there any way to add the Moroccan Dirham symbol (MAD) to my price?

Hi Norman, 

You can do it from DB.

go to currency_lang table 

and add icon to symbol section : https://jumpshare.com/v/jFBaFA5FG3jZ5JmTNP24
