Heribert
Dear all, i'm trying to install prestashop 1.7.7.5. Close to the end I get the error message: An error occurred during installation... You can use the links on the left column to go back to the previous steps, or restart the installation process by clicking here. ps_facebook1: Cannot install module "ps_facebook" and I can not finish the isntallation. Up to this point anythink is running fine. Any idea? regards Heribert
LeandroCMH
Good morning, i am a developer and i also have the same problem since yesterday There seems to be some problem during the installation phase of the facebook add-on We have installed many prestashop e-commerce stores and such a thing has never happened Even installing previous versions of prestashop you get the same problem You should contact the developer of the facebook module to report the bug with the new version of the plugin otherwise all new installations are blocked Or you should remove this module from the installation phase which for me is useless !!!! Then you have to go to the prestashop installation folder then to the "modules" folder and replace the "ps_facebook" folder with the downloaded one. After that, restart the installation and it should work."

Heribert
The following was the way for me: Download from the PREST-Shop the module separately via this link. and unzip the files Start the installation until the error message occurs. copy all files form the unzip module in too the folder /module/ps_facebook and overwrite the existing files Go back to the browser and restart the install

Unfortunately, exactly as I did. So in my case, unfortunately, it does not help.
JavierV
A mi tampoco me funciona nada de lo que se dice aquí. Esto me parece por parte de PrestaShop un fallo enorme nada serio que deben de solucionarlo lo más pronto posible.
Danny
Try to rename the FBmodule (before the installation). Then install PS. After installation, download a fresh fbmodule and add it to your PS. Danny
JavierV
It does not work since the installation loads the module and fails, this has to be solved by PrestaShop.
Skiud
This has to be solved by Prestashop of course but there is a solution. You can "blacklist" the ps_facebook module in Install Instructions. Go to src/PrestaShopBundle/Install/Install.php line 934 and add "ps_facebook" and "ps_facebook1" after "bankwire" https://www.gitmemory.com/issue/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/25191/874336487 Edited July 7, 2021 by Skiud (see edit history)
