Adding combinations to a product stop a customer from being able to add it to cart

Prestashop 1.7.6.5, dedicated vps hosting

We make customized products for our clients so have stock disabled in prestashop to allow a customer to order them.

When i change a product from simple to product with combinations and add some combinations, only the default combination can be ordered and the other options cannot.

I have even gone and added stock as my pos module(POS by Webkul) will not allow to order those product either, that made no difference.

It doesnt make any sense what is going on and I am at a loss as how to fix it, any input as to why combinations could be doing this?

Any help where to start with it appreciated...
