MarcialBricolemar
Hi everyone, We are having an issue sometimes with Prestashop that some webpages send an Error 500 "Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: unable to write file... thrown in /home/bricolem/public_html/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_write_file.php on line 46" our hosting company told us that we must contact Prestashop to solve this issue because its a problem of the CMS, we tought that its a simple folder permission problem, but they insisted, does anyone have any idea of this or a solution? They renamed the smarty cache folder to smarty_ and it solved the problem but they warn us that the problem will arise again and insisted us to contact the CMS developer (Prestashop). Our current version is a PS 1.6.1.9 Best regards
El Patron
the only way to contact PS is via their github. You are on an older non-supported version so no new issues can be reported. here is search, this issue goes back some time maybe you will find soluton https://www.google.com/search?q=sysplugins%2Fsmarty_internal_write_file.php+on+line+46&oq=sysplugins%2Fsmarty_internal_write_file.php on+line 46&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 I recommend posting in job section or contacting a PS agency to solve.
