Prestashop update

Hi Everyone,

Is there a work around to upgrade from 1.7.6.1 to 1.7.7.1 as when I do it via the 1 Click Upgrade it times out as it is taking too long. I have also tried the manual download and update but the file is too big.

Any ideas as it seems I am stuck in the past.

The only way I see when you have a restrictive hoster that times you out during an upgrade is to do it on a local computer. That means downloading and uploading files so it is quite time consuming (tip: leave out cache and images).

I am on Prestashop 1.7.6.1 and want to upgrade to 1.7.7.1

I am upgrading because I am told it is a better platform.

If you don't have a specific business need to upgrade, I.e. new must have feature then one should focus on catalog sales and not upgrade.
