Customer are able to place orders for products out of stock

Hello,

Using PS 1.6.

We just noticed that in some circumstances, some customers are able to place orders with more quantities that are in stock for some products.

For example, just right now, a customer placed an order for 10pcs of a product. But we only have 1pcs available. We are using advanced stock management and have the option to deny orders if no stock:

 

On other occasions, we tried to place an order in the same circumstances, and the cart don't allow us to continue the process and ask us to remove the product or change quantities.

 

Investigating further more, we noticed that the cart for this order was created one month ago, when we have enough stock:

 

So, it's possible that a customer can place an order with not enough stock if the customer added the quantity to the cart when the product had enough stock ?

We will try this in our development environment, but we want to know if this was happened before to other users.
