Janehahman
I have a database in Access with products I want to insert in Prestashop! I've read about the database import in prestashop but didnt find anything about access db import. Is there a way to import this database in prestashop? Or am I supposed to write sql queries to add these products for maheenandco. Edited June 8, 2021 by Janehahman (see edit history)
musicmaster
The most usual way to import is with csv files. But what for you is the most useful depends also on details like images and variants (combinations in PS talk).
El Patron
you will need to export your access db, cats/products into a .csv that is understandable by PS. to create a 'feature' 'attribute' rich catalog first understand the data's required, i.e. features/attributes (which have to be added first). look for a module that will help you create a feature rich catalog https://addons.prestashop.com/en/search?id_category=451&search_query=csv understanding how PS servers your catalog specifically at the category level with faceted search will give you idea of fields you need to fill, categories/attributes/features have fun!
