How to chanche the home's introduction

Who can tell me how change the homepage's introduction, i want to replace it as my words , I found it in editorial file, but i can't work . who can tell how to do it. thank you very much

I think you go to Modules>Tools (scroll down the modules)>Home Text Editor (click configure) and change it in the box that comes up, but I cant save the changes in it - it just keeps the existing text.

In this particular case, $editorial->body_paragraph is passed to the template as a variable, so we shouldn't expect the full template to be cached... but, I wonder whether the app is applying HTTP headers to the hompage, instructing the browser "no-revalidate" if-modified-since hasn't changed.

TestingT, I read in your other post that you're not seeing your changes reflected in the frontend pages.
Before clearing your Smarty cache, try this:
while viewing your shop homepage, force a browser page refresh (usually ctrl+F5) and see if the changed content suddenly shows up.

I tried a forced refresh, but didn't help. I edit the text in the editor, close it and reopen the home page editor. When reopened, it still displays the original text, not the new (changed text). How are you supposed to "save" changes???

1) I will try the "update the editor" button again - it didn't seem to work before
2) If not, I will try reinstalling the module. Do you know if it will delete the text on page if I uninstall the module?
