Very slow ckeckout process

Currently in my PS Store I have a very slow Checkout process. I have a shipping module installed that sends weight and dimensions information to an external API but currently it asks 4 times to the same API each time I go to the next step in the checkout process causing that extremely long delay (18 seconds). Can anyone help me with this? Why PS does the same process 4 times?

I am using PS 1.7.6.7, the front end url is www.megabikes.co/stage and the aarrier module I am using is https://addons.prestashop.com/es/transportistas/44971-connect-2-coordinadora.html
