butterfly-1
Hi, I have installed PrestaShop 1.7.4.0 because that's the only one I got to fully install. I can get into the back office but the front end don't work. I want to upgrade to PrestaShop version 1.7.7.4 but Im getting a warning for the following: PHP's max_execution_time setting has a high value or is disabled entirely (current value: 300 seconds) My hosting provider is asking for a value that works so I can upgrade to PrestaShop version 1.7.7.4 Anyone know what to set the value to? Thank you in advance
fleinhardt
I would be interested in this information as well. Seems any value that is used for max_execution_time doesn't work.
butterfly-1
Hi, I wanted to come back and say this has been resolved for me. I emailed a developer this question and they replied saying the following: "You can set max_execution_time to 0(zero) so it will be like unlimited. Using this value you can try first and if everything works fine. you can find the best value suitable for your shop." I contacted my hosting provider with the message above. They replied saying, they have temporarily disabled the max_execution_time directive on my account. I hope this helps everyone seeking this answer. butterfly-1
@Nickz, yes, my front end is up and running now. I forgot to say that I had to: 1. Login to Back Office 2. Go to Shop Parameters > General 3. Click yes to “Enable SSL” then clicked save 4. Click yes to “Enable SSL on all pages” then clicked save. My front end was up and running after I refreshed the page.
