How's Prestashop Hierarchy works exactly?

Hi Everyone, im a new Prestashop Developer, and i have a doubt about the inside performance of Prestashop's tpl. 

My question is, if i have a Parent/Child Hierarchy and for example: Father has this directory (Themes/Father/Templates/1.tpl, 2.tpl, 3.tpl, 4.tpl.)

And the son has for example (Themes/Son/Templates/4.tpl and 3.tpl), if im using son as my current theme in my shop, ¿Did he still uses 1.tpl and 2.tpl?

If you don't override a template, it uses parent's template.
