Hi guys,

My PrestasShop version is 1.5.5.0 and I still can not login into BO.

I have been facing this issue a few weeks.

I have tried:

1) to use dev mode - no error is being shown

2) to rename gamification folder - did not work

3) to clean cache folder - did not work

Do you have any suggestions and recommendations what else I should try in order to fix it?

Please help, thanks.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem.

I can't log into the website and all I see is an error message that doesn't actually define a problem:

Please can someone provide urgent advice to solve this???

This is an Ajax error. So even when there is a clear message you will not see it and just see this "parsererror".

To see the actual error there are two ways:

 - look in the php error log

 - enable debug mode and look at what was returned by the Ajax call.

Thanks for the responses, they are much appreciated.

PHP is set at 5.6 and hasn't changed.

I've turned on debug mode, replicated the problem and have asked my host to check the logs for errors.

Via the console I have also discovered the following detailed error:

Fatal error: Class 'PrestaShopLogger' not found in /home/vflyfish/public_html/controllers/admin/AdminLoginController.php on line 169

Any advice on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

I have managed to resolve this with the help of my host - Imunify360 security software had removed a core file as it looked suspicious. I replaced this with a file that I downloaded and the login is now fixed.

Many thanks for your support and initial suggestions.
